Where To Watch Fireworks in Dubai

We will be bidding goodbye to this year and ringing in 2023! Of course, what better way to celebrate the New Year than to get together with family and friends, dining, listening to music, enjoying a few drinks, and watching dazzling, colorful fireworks? Keep reading to find out the top spots to watch the fireworks.

Turn up the fun on New Year's Eve by heading to these best places where you can watch the fireworks.

Burj Khalifa

The Burj Khalifa is the most iconic place to watch the fireworks on New Year's Eve in Dubai! If you're looking to welcome the New Year with a bang, the Burj Khalifa fireworks are the perfect choice. Emaar has confirmed a huge laser, light, and firework show on New Year's Eve, which will set a world record for the largest laser display.

Make sure you arrive early to avoid traffic blockades and road closures. It's best to arrive at the prime location by 6pm or earlier to get a comfortable spot with a great view as many tourists and residents will be gathered on the Dubai Mall Fountain deck, but if the Dubai Mall fountain deck is crowded, you can watch fireworks from the walkways around Dubai Water Canal. At Downtown Dubai, you can catch fireworks shows on the beautiful bridges around the canal. To watch the fireworks and celebrate the New Year, you can also book a Canal Dhow Cruise by Tour Dubai. Burj park or Souk Al Bahar to watch the Burj Khalifa fireworks is also a great alternative.

Burj Al Arab

The famous sail-shaped, seven-star hotel in the world, Burj Al Arab,  will light up with New Year’s Eve fireworks in Dubai at midnight. If you haven't seen the fireworks at Burj Al Arab, then you shouldn't miss it this year. To see the fireworks, you don't have to check in.  Head to Kite beach  to see the Dubai fireworks just a few kilometers away. Black Palace Beach in Al Sufouh comes alive on New Years Eve. The fireworks will be held at the mid-point between the Burj Al Arab and Palm Jumeirah, so be sure to check them out. In Dubai, Umm Suqeim Park is a great spot to see the fireworks from Burj Al Arab.

Palm Jumeriah

Experience New Year's Eve fireworks like never before at Palm Jumeirah, Dubai! An unforgettable New Year's celebration awaits visitors on the iconic island.

You can also catch a beautiful display of fireworks from the Palm Jumeirah Boardwalk on New Year’s Eve. Looking for more places to watch Palm Jumeirah fireworks? The Palm West Beach and The Pointe may be your best bet to catch some awesome sights of the New Year Eve fireworks.

Dubai Festival City

Most venues will light up their fireworks at midnight, but Dubai Festival city will have hourly fireworks displays at 9pm, 10pm, 11pm, and 12am. As soon as the sun set, the IMAGINE show will begin - featuring lights, water, and sound performance.

Bluewater Island

The fireworks and other festivities will take place at Bluewaters Island on 31st December 2022. Enjoy fireworks at the world's highest observation wheel, the Ain Dubai, located on Bluewaters Island. Reserve Marina Dhow Cruise at Tour Dubai for a magical New Years' Eve for unbeatable views of the Dubai skyline fireworks.

With so many options available, decide where to ring in the New year with family or friends. We hope you enjoy the show and Tour Dubai would like to wish you a very happy New Year!
